ABOUT ME

Since the 1980s, I have been passionate about mechanical wristwatches. I first came across the brand Sinn in 1998, but my passion for vintage Sinn watches was ignited by the limited edition Sinn 103 Klassik.

The logical connection to the Sinn 103 A Compax laid the foundation for my enthusiasm for vintage Sinn watches. Thus, the path was paved for my first Sinn watches from the era of Helmut Sinn.

I focus on those model variants that Helmut Sinn referred to as "Rallye Watches". This includes the models of the series 101, 102, 103, and the rare chronographs with Excelsior Park calibers.

Having had the opportunity to personally meet Helmut Sinn, I was always very impressed by his open and honest personality. The conversations with him were very enriching, interesting, and unforgettable for me! I greatly admired his exemplary self-discipline, adherence to his principles, and his sense of humor.

His suggestions and information were always crucial and of great help in building my collection and deciding to create this website. This website aims to give collectors and experts the opportunity to get to know the watches and model series of Sinn Spezialuhren before 1995.

Most of the time, when I look at my vintage Sinn watches, it's not necessarily to read the time; it's more about memories, his stories, and the passion that has developed in me over the years for vintage Sinn watches.

This passion is also what makes each of these Sinn watches a unique piece.

Vintage Sinn watches are something special to me, and once you start collecting them, you can't stop.
